The basis of auditing is in order to ensure, processes, procedures, maintenance, competencies and so forth are in accordance with contractual expectations, regulatory requirements, industry practices, etc.
Rigtech Independent conduct a number of audit programmes, both to examine whether a client is in compliance with their own procedures and to ensure third party contracts are being adhered to. Our Rig Inspection programmes are a formal assessment of the rig as a whole, whereas the Audits concentrate on specific areas.
A common theme when a third party contract is awarded, is that the issuing company then fails to audit the contractor and is unaware of the way in which that contract is being fulfilled.
If no audit programme is in place, very often an owner only finds out how the contract is being administered when things go wrong

Deficiencies are organized in the same three levels of priority and spreadsheets are used such that a client can readily adopt everything into a tracking system.
